Our Company

• History
  • Unperplexed Solutions, Inc. is a worldwide leader in providing software solution packages to companies around the world.
  • In September 2002 Unperplexed was started up and became an instant success.
  • In May 2003 the first version of the webpage was created.
  • The second version soon followed with an updated design and more pages in January of 2004.
  • The second version was repaired and updated in March 2006. An online shopping cart was added.
  • In January 2008 the latest version of the webpage was created:
    • It has been coded completely from scratch with nothing but Notepad2 and PaintDotNet.
    • It is written in fully standards compliant W3C HTML 4.01 and CSS 2.0.
    • It also conforms to Section 508 and WAI Standards, among others (see footer).
    • Our dynamic content is generated with PHP and MySQL.
  • The website was further modified during the 2008-2009 schoolyear, as the header for each page and company logo were altered. Another major modification was the addition of the options to view the site in either Spanish or French. The text on the site was fully translated by members of the IT department.

  • Human Resources
    • Members: Adam Baum and Virginia Hamm
    • The Human Resources Department deals with all personal relations within the company and works to ensure the company runs smoothly. Monthly employee evaluations are conducted to determine the employee of the month. Employee and company news is recorded monthly and distributed to all employees in the Monthly Molesta, the Unperplexed Solutions Employee Newsletter. The Human Resources Department has also developed the Unperplexed Solutions Employee Manual, and numerous forms designed to assist the communication within the company between all departments for a highly productive, efficient company.
  
  
  • Research and Development
    • Members: Bill Ding and Cy Lance
    • The Research and Development Department is integral to the expansion and progress of Unperplexed Solutions. The department is responsible for the creation and subsequent pricing of new products for sale over the CSBS and Europen networks. As a general goal, R&D highly values quality in the products. Indeed, from the conception of an idea to the manufacturing of a box, Research and Development monitors, assists, and conducts every necessary step, separating Unperplexed Solutions from the competition. This was exemplified in 2009, when the R&D department created the newest product, Puzzleport.
  
  
  • Marketing
    • Members: Andrew Jackson III, Rob Banks, Q. Tee Pi, Sara Bellum, Yuri Diculous, and Midas Well
    • The Marketing Department is charged with the responsibility of advertising products and selling them. Their primary task is to develop the overall look and theme of Unperplexed Solutions’ products and unify them under that theme with the ultimate goal of producing the best marketing campaign for the company. In addition to that, they perform several important tasks such as processing invoices, checking emails, providing computer graphics, developing tag lines and logos, producing product descriptions, generating flyers and catalogs, and other tasks.
  
  
  • Finance
    • Members: Pearl Harbour and Anne Teak
    • The Finance department is in charge of the company's money. They determine the salary of employees and process the payrolls. They also pay all bills, taxes, and process invoices. In general they keep track of the campany’s financial record.
  
  
  • Information Technology
    • Members: Tate Urchips, Colin Sick, and Dom N. Ate
    • The Information Technology department is in charge of maintaining the company website. They evaluate the website from previous years and determine the best things to include on the current webpage. They then revamp the page to best suit this year's needs. Additionally they work directly with research and development to create new products and with marketing to regulate the style and design of our marketing campaign. Last year, in 2008 they expanded the UnperplexedSolutions product line into an entire new market by creating Falcon OS, the UnperplexedSolutions operating system. This year, the department modified the website by changing the header, adding a trade fair page, and creating the second and third (Spanish and French) laguage options to expand the demographic the company reaches out to.
